Strongly recommend for a brief stopover
Cozy inn, delicious food, where I enjoyed the amazing Welsh pie bursting with flavor and the inviting atmosphere with festive Christmas decorations, made our stay special.

Substantial and satisfactory breakfast selection with over powerful flavour of leek in the sausage, beans, cooked items. Very central location - near to a castle and a tower.

The Excellent Service and the Great Food in fantastic surroundings. Where the highlights of our trip, with only a stones throw from the castle. We did not eat anywhere else but in the hotel itself, the value and quality was great and having stayed in many hotels unusual in the fact that normally we would eat out, so a big plus here also. The hotel room was great value an excellent cleanliness was also evident. The staff could not do enough for us. We will certainly stay again

Thank you for a lovely stay. It's a cute hotel with lovely gardens and airy rooms. The venue's location is best possible, we were next to a castle and a national park. The service is friendly, includes free parking.

It was conveniently close to the town and a big plus was the car park. We consider the hotel very good for short stay.
We did find our bathroom very small.

For a cozy evening, grab drinks early at the bar before they close or head next door to Wetherspoons.

Helpful and friendly service, and superb food. The location could hardly be better - just inside the medieval city walls and 3 mins walk from the castle
The twin room we booked was at the back directly over the kitchen. A light sleeper might have difficulties with the noise of various fans and pumps etc throughout the night

Room 31 was super spacious with a huge bathroom and the biggest shower I've seen. The bed was comfy. The atmosphere was cozy with low beams. The staff were helpful. Great location, just a short stroll from the harbour and the castle. Food was awesome, especially the Welsh pie and chicken skewers. Parking was nearby, but it can get a bit tight.
